Choosing the Right Tweezer

Whether you're looking to completely change your eyebrows or just fine tune them, we have just the right tweezer for you. When it comes to choosing a tweezer for a specific result, the most important thing to look at is the shape of the tip, of which there are four main styles:

There is no perfect tweezer - each is better suited than the others at achieving different goals.

Straight Tip Tweezers

Ideal Use(s): General tweezing, removing multiple hairs.

Straight tip tweezers have a wide flat tip allowing for a large grip area - the are used for grabbing several hairs at once due to this reason. They are also able to provide a strong hold, which makes them perfect for removing stubborn, hard to remove hairs.

Straight tweezers are ideal for beginners as the edge is not as sharp as the other styles, making them more forgiving to mistakes. Side note: their large grip area makes them a great tool for applying false eyelashs.

Pointed Tip Tweezers

Ideal Use(s): Great for precision tweezing, removing individual fine hairs

Pointed tip tweezers have have tips which taper down to a point, which makes them a great choice for precision tweezing. They are perfect for removing individual hairs as well as fine, hard-to-get ones. Their shape also makes them ideal at removing ingrowing hairs.

Pointed tweezers can be seen as a bit daunting due to their sharp tips, so a bit of caution is advised to beginners. Once mastered, they can prove to be very useful tools.

Slanted Tip Tweezers

Ideal Use(s): Great all-rounder, good for multiple and individual hairs

Slanted tip tweezers are the most popular choice of tweezers. They can be seen as a combination of straight and pointed tweezers: the angled end allows it to have the capability to remove multiple hairs like straight tweezers and fine individual hairs like pointed tweezers.

As with straight tweezers, slanted tweezers can be an ideal tool for applying false eyelashes - they have a wide, strong grip and are not overly sharp.

Round Tip Tweezers

Ideal Use(s): Ideal for those with sensitive skin
